I know it's a bit early to be discussing spring trends while the cold weather is in full effect. However, I had to share one of the most noteworthy trends I have been seeing a lot of on the spring 2012 runways. Bra tops are an essential for spring fashion. Not only are they actually pretty versatile, but they're a fun and flirty alternative piece to wear during those hotter days. Showing a little midriff is not uncommon for warmer weather. You just have to be confident enough to embrace it. I am loving this trend, especially paired with a fuller skirt. It's always wise to choose a form-fitting top with a larger skirt. The bra top is definitely the perfect partner. If you don't feel comfortable wearing a bra top, layer it underneath a denim shirt and let the bra top barely peek out. It can be difficult to make this look appear fashionable as opposed to overly revealing, but remember it is all about how you accessorize it. When wearing the bra top, choose a high-waisted bottom. Whether it is shorts or pants, the high-waisted option will not completely expose your belly. It's subtle, but sexy. I really like a corseted bra top, inspired from the lingerie craze that's always on trend for spring. Are you brave enough to wear the bra top?
