Palazzo Pants

Here I go again, ranting and raving about how much I love the wide-leg trend. Fashion bloggers unite with the Palazzo Pants from ASOS. I spotted Liz Cherkasova of Late Afternoon and Carolina Engman of Fashion Squad both wearing these wide-leg beauties. I can't get over just how versatile these pants are. They look flattering on every body type and can easily elongate your legs by wearing platforms.  The variety of tops to wear with the Palazzo Pants are endless. Form-fitting, blousy, tank, structured, tied button down, crop top etc. In addition, they are perfect to dress up with a blazer or dress down with a denim jacket. Trust me, you will get a lot of wearbility with a pant such as this. These are the perfect addition to your summer wardrobe, considering they are loose and airy. I hope you love these just as much as I do and maybe get a pair for yourself. ASOS.com offers stylish clothing available for any occasion and any budget. Did I mention that they cover shipping?!

  2. I think they are very elegant and a flattering pant, for certain. A great deal of people assume that if you are petite you should not wear wide leg pants. I beg to differ. I am barely 5'3" and adore my wide leg pants. With a great platform, like you say, and a fitted pant and top, one can actually look a lot taller!

I am really struggling to find any palazzo trousers to fit me. I am 5ft exactly and the ones I have found are way to long, even if i chose to wear them with heels. However I rally am useless in heels and much prefer the comfort and look of flats. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could get some petite palazzo trousers as I have been looking all over the internet with no luck. Otherwise I guess ill just have to get some and have them altered

  4. I wish I knew. However, ASOS.com does carry petites if you feel comfortable ordering pants online. Unfortunately, your best bet might be just to get them altered. Sorry I couldn't be of much help! Best of luck to you!

hey, "Anonymous July 03, 2011" - you should try hsn.com. DG2 palazzo pants are very cool. just make sure you get the right size. you might note the variety of negative reviews b/c they are not getting the correct size. DG2 designs for all types of women and offers petite, avg., and tall in her jeans and these pants. I PURCHASED SEVERAL PAIRS because i sized UP one size to get the nice drape and non-cling look. they flow beautifully and i was one of the positive reviews for that very reason...just figure out your correct size and go from there. in fact, tomorrow (8-1-11) i will be wearing her loden green ones to work w/some espadrilles that have a 3" heel and are silk [greenish color with strips of light tannish color, so they look wonderful w/this particular color pant]. they fit me perfectly and i am a new yorker and can shop ANYWHERE in nyc, right? :o) hope you are as pleased as i am w/these recent purchases.
