Isabel Marant's Spring 2011 collection defines cool girl fashion. Uncomplicated looks, with a touch of french influence. Her line is young and refreshing, including floral prints, cotton dresses and mini-shorts paired with slouchy sweaters. Isabel knows what to design for women who shop for comfort and style. Simplicity and the ability to transition fashionable pieces are also important for consumers. I believe Isabel Marant did a fantastic job, doing what she does best and that is making women look undeniably chic.

Vanilla, camel, tan, grey, olive, ivory and brown, all sound like their lacking punch, right? Wrong! This season, neutrals are anything but dull and boring. Stay away from choosing an all black wardrobe and add a subtle hint of rich, warm hues to your closet. You can never go wrong with mixing neutrals. It is a timeless look, that will get your clothes a lot of wearability. If you feel like these muted tones are lacking something, spice them up by adding a leopard print scarf, a plaid button down, or wear your favorite shade of red lipstick. Mix and match your fabrics, they don't have be exactly alike. By wearing neutrals, you will create many looks that will take you from season to season.

In a previous post, I wrote about where to find stylish rain boots. I searched all over and fell completely in love with the CHANEL Cemellia rain boots. Considering they were a bit out of my price range, I opted for the black Cyclone rain boots at Banana Republic, which are equally cute. I came across this photo of a model wearing clear rain boots by Cheap Monday, paired with a chunky scarf and a boyfriend blazer worn as a dress. A boyfriend blazer as a dress and clear, knee-high rain boots? Only she could pull this look off. I never thought I would say that I "liked" clear rain boots, however they are definitely starting to grow on me.

Taylor Tomasi Hill has style like no other I have seen. Her ability to over-accessorize and still come out looking amazing is beyond me. The current Senior Accessories Director for Marie Claire has been photographed by a variety of fashion photographers, from Paris to New York, her style is followed by many. With her glowing skin and fiery red hair, Taylor is virtually a blank canvas where she experiments with one-of-a-kind pieces and sharp patterns, but adds a modernized twist of bad-girl femininity mixed with eclectic charm. This girl exudes true elegance, edginess and has no fear when it comes to making a bold statement with her clothing. I am sure we will see more to come from Taylor and her infallible sense of style.

It is very easy for me to get any sort of fashion inspiration. Lately, fall fashion has consumed my wardrobe and my inspiration has been non-stop. One of my favorite looks right now are knee socks with a lot of layering. Here are some fun ideas that can get you started; definitely choose fabrics that are light and breathable, they are much easier to layer. Mix up textures and patterns, such as faux leather and faux fur. Glam up your look with bold accessories, like a pair of brightly colored gloves or a sequin beret. Add a touch of leopard to the mix. Cinch your waist with a cozy cardigan. Lastly, always balance your look. Pair skinny trousers with an oversized sweater or wide leg pants with a form-fitting blouse. These tips are super easy and fun. I'm sure you will enjoy looking stylish and comfortable just in time for autumn weather. Like always, I found some fashionable insight from ASOS.com. Whoever they hired as their stylist, is definitely on point. So, if you ever need help dressing for fall or just a little fashion inspiration, take a peak at these photos that emphasize more on the proper way to layer.

I'm always following Olivia Palermo, whether it's on the streets, or at events. I am constantly inspired when I see what she's wearing. I love her classic sense of style and the way she can look effortlessly fashionable when mixing and matching patterns. I frequently ask myself what would Olivia Palermo wear? I can't help but be drawn to her sense of style, because everything she wears, I would wear. I think that's a fairly reasonable question to ask myself when shopping! Anyway, Olivia cannot do wrong in my eyes. She is always flawless, put-together and ladylike. So, here is a little Olivia inspiration for us all.
